The sunsets you see here are amazing as well as the sound of the ocean waves gently rolling in all night. Typically there are Biminites at this popular spot CJ's Deli which is actually a shack that serves great fried seafood, wings, burgers and more (click link to see many pictures of neighborhood and food) and Sherry's Place, is just steps away. There is usually loud music playing and frequently a party on the beach which typically subsides right around sunset or a little later. Also of interest is the mural on the ocean side of the house across the street from the cottage. Another place not to be missed is The Dolphin House built by Ashley Saunders. The Space
This short term rental in Alice Town, Bimini is completely different than Resort World style which is definitely a clone of US suburbia. Experience life in laid back Bimini style like a Bahamian. The beach, restaurants and bars are just steps away. Have a whole fried fish, conch salad and a cold Kalik beer any time you desire. We know a vendor of golf carts that can be delivered directly to you so you can avoid the hassle of dealing with the local rental companies.
Getting There
There are several ways to get to Bimini. The best, easiest and usually the most expensive is by utilizing Tropic Ocean Airways. Tropic Ocean is based at Sheltair Aviation at the base of the control tower at Fort Lauderdale International Airport. Because they operate as a charter, you can arrive just 45 minutes prior to the 30 minute flight by seaplane. The seaplane lands conveniently only 5 minutes from the cottage. Because the plane carries only 8 passengers customs and immigration takes about 5 minutes. At Tropic Ocean Airways they treat you like a member of the family. A new option to travel by air to South Bimini (where the airport is located) is on Aztec Airways. They have scheduled service from Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport to South Bimini.
Also Silver Airways (read reviews on-line first) has flights to South Bimini. They are less expensive than Tropic Ocean, are frequently delayed (and sometimes cancelled) and because you land at the airport on South Bimini it will require you to take a bus from the airport to a small ferry boat that crosses the channel of about 1/4 mile width to get to the north island where the cottage is. All this takes about 30-40 minutes. Another option, the least expensive is by using the Balearia Caribbean ferry which leaves Port Everglades. Customs takes 30 minutes or more depending on how many passengers are on board and it leaves you at the north end of North Bimini at the Resort World facility. The two remaining options for travel are private boat or aircraft. The cottage owner Rick, is a private pilot with many trips to Bimini under his belt. He will be happy to help you with all the forms and procedures for both the US and The Bahamas. However you arrive, our local host Barry Dames (contact information is below) will pick you up in a golf cart and carry you to the cottage and reverse the process when it is time for your departure.
Amenities
You will have access to an entire 2 bedroom, 2 bath house and the large yard surrounding it. The kitchen has pots, pans, utensils, Keurig machine, teapot, toaster, microwave, cable TV, hair dryer and of course WiFi. Towels and bed sheets and all included. The cottage has smoke/carbon dioxide detectors, fire extinguisher.
Golf cart rental
Our preferred vendor is Barry's Bimini Golf Cart Rental. Give Barry a call! We are sure you will be satisfied with his service.
Nearby marinas to dock your boat
There are three marinas all within a 5 minute walk from the cottage. Big Game Club, Brown's Marina and Bimini Blue Water Marina. Click the links for more information.
Other things to note
This location can get busy with Biminites enjoying the most popular spot on North Bimini. There are frequently people on the beach, boats just offshore and people enjoying the food at CJ's Deli. Other places just a short walk or golf cart ride away include Big John's Restaurant and Club, Big Game Club with its good restaurant, The Bimini Museum, The Straw Market numerous small grocery stores, bakeries (for Bimini Bread) .

Beautiful location with restaurants across the street, the perfect location for Bimini. Barry was great to help with issues and questions. We will be back!!
The house is great! Best location in town!! CJ's Deli right across the street, steps to the beach, couldn't be better!!! Can't wait for the next trip!! Check in / out is a breeze and Barry is always near by if you need anything!!
Could not recommend any higher. Rick's communication and Barry's hospitality were truly amazing. The unit was a perfect size for my family and very comfortable. Clean and had all amenities we needed. The location is perfect. Across the street from an amazing beach and CJ' deli which has awesome food.
Rick is an excellent host, quick to respond and extremely helpful! Barry was so nice and greeted us with a smile every time we saw him. The house has a beautiful view of the ocean and so easy to get to!
This little sweet house was as a dream for us. So close to the amazing beach and beautiful ocean. The food is excellent and local. We love all the friendly people hanging around there. We felt home there. We had breakfast in the garden every day. Berry the house keeper pic us up from the Ferry and take care of us every day. Rick the host answer very fast and friendly . We really love this house and place!
Amazing location, wonderful hosts! Nearby to everything that you might need! Stuart’s conch salad and Bimini knock out punch are amazing! Fishing, snorkeling, and visiting sting rays with Barry is something we will never forget, such a cool experience! Thank you Rick, Danuta, and Barry for everything!
This cottage is in a perfect location across from an amazing beach. It was well-equipped and Barry, the owner's representative, was a delight. Don't miss an opportunity to stay here! And make sure you get the conch fritters from Sherry's across the road. I ate them every day!!
Amazing!!!!! This was a perfect AirBnB experience in my opinion. From an easy booking and immediate and friendly communication by Rick the listing's owner to quick and painless pickup from the ferry dock by our local host, Barry, it was all A+! The house is very cute, clean, and well stocked for anything you need on a beach vacation. The location is amazing since you're directly by Radio Beach and near many different restaurants and basically all of Alice town. Barry was always just a quick (Hidden by Airbnb) away for any issues we had and was great for recommendations and helping us get the best price for anything we needed locally. He even got us a golf cart for 15$ less per day than the Ferry's price which made travelling around the island super easy. I would definitely recommend this AirBnB to anyone looking to go to Bimini and I am sure I will be back myself :)
The location is amazing. The house was clean, welcoming, and the perfect size for four people. There is a nice shady spot on the side of the house to sit and relax. Barry picked us up from the ferry and dropped us off at the front door. You can't beat that service! He was there for whatever we needed. Communication with the owner Rick started as soon as we booked, very attentive to our needs. We love Bimini and the people!
This was our families first trip to Bimini, and we are so happy we found this place to stay!! The homeowners are super friendly and helpful with any questions we had. The location was absolutely beautiful, and it was the perfect location to relax on the beach or hop in the golf cart and explore the town. Also the host Barry was amazing, always smiling, and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. And on top of that took us fishing, snorkeling, and to feed the stingrays. This will be a spot we return to again and again!!!
This charming historic property represents the real Bimini experience, it sits upon Queens Highway in the center of Alice Town’s fun places, adjacent to the entrance to Radio Beach. The best feature of this property by far is the owners Rick and Danuta Corday. They love Bimini and are loved by the locals as and ambassadors to Bimini. The Cordarys made sure we were warmly welcomed once we arrived, the locals who work at and enjoy the restaurants and bars Radio Beach all genuinely show their appreciation for us visiting Bimini. This gem of a cottage was recently owned by a famous Bimini Resident “Jacques-Andre Istel” who was honored for making technical contributions to the sport of parachuting and there are stories of him parachuting all over Bimini. (Website hidden by Airbnb) The home has three ceiling fans, two air conditioners, fresh paint and a fully functional kitchen complete with coffee maker, oven, microwave and electric stove. The bathroom is clean, fully functional, hot showers and there is a hair dryer. The cedar closets are an extra special touch. There was snorkel gear for two. An outside hose to wash off your sandy feet. I can’t fully express that the Island has so much to offer, and there is something for everyone. Taking the boat out for a day enabled us to enjoy the SS Sapona is 288’, built 1924, history rich concrete ship, the wreck has great beauty in story and the artificial reef that it creates, thousands of small fish and ideal snorkeling, if you’re brave you can dive off the hull and take post card perfect photos! (Website hidden by Airbnb) I saw dolphins swimming, ballyhoo jumping out of the water, nurse sharks and sting rays just to name a few. The cottage property manager “Bimini Barry” is an ideal boat captain / guide, we took full advantage. Barry loves the Island as much as the Cordarys do and Barry is a highly capable guide and boat man and has the ability to show you all the fun Bimini has to offer including fishing. We just showed up at the Big Game Club and Barry had cooler, Ice, baits, rods and reels. My girlfriend and I both loved feeding the dozen stingrays from big 4’ wide to small 1’ wide. They all rub against your legs seemingly lovingly to show their gratitude. It was an unforgettable experience and they were just on a deserted island beach, so amazing! There is a party on the beach every day from around 9am to about 8pm every day on Radio Beach. We dined at Big Johns, Ebbie & Pats Conch House, CJs and the Big Game Club, a nice mixture of locals and visitors and we enjoyed both thoroughly. Everyone is happy on the island and most know about this well-kept secret. We will return to Little Felicity soon, as we are thoroughly in love with Bimini and Radio Beach. Thank you Cordarys!!
